How It Works
Navigating the U.S. financial system can be challenging — especially for immigrants and refugees facing language barriers and unfamiliar financial practices. Without the right knowledge, these challenges can lead to financial mistakes that impact household budgets and credit.
Project Prosper’s free Financial Education Program helps you build the skills and confidence needed to manage your money and plan for the future. Classes are offered in English and Spanish, online or in person. No financial background is required — just a desire to learn!
You do not need to take all 13 classes! To participate in the program, we ask that you complete at least 4 classes of your choosing. This flexible model allows you to select the topics most relevant to you and attend based on your schedule and location.
